GORDON RAMSAY'S JUST DESSERTS (16 chocs)

I had these bought me for my birthday, my husband and I shared them as I was not really supposed to eat them, but my oh my am I so glad that I was naughty, I though Thorntons Luxury Chocolates were brilliant, but these beat them hands down.

Gordon Ramsay's Just Desserts are the Rolls Royce of Chocolates. They are the 'elite' in chocolates. They are, wonderful, the flavours are everything that I describe below, none of the flavours over power, they, all bend in lovely together.

The Packaging the box is shiny silver in colour with a shiny purple panel on the left hand side. It show a picture of the chocolates that you will find inside the box and has Gordon Ramsay written across the right hand side of the box.

Now, these will go lovely with a bottle of champagne, two crystals glasses, a lovely rug and a log fire with candle light, not to forget the main people you and your partner, these chocolates will just finish off the scene nicely. Now let us enjoy the flavours melting on your tongue and tantalizing your tastebuds.

STRAWBERRY BOMBE - white chocolate truffle with real strawberry juice and strawberry pieces - melted in your mouth, mega yummy, the creaminess of the white chocolate blended with like a strawberry truffle centre, heaven.

PISTACHIO TRUFFLE - white chocolate and pistachio centre coated, in Belgian milk chocolate and ground pistachios - taste was WOW, creamy smooth tasting all flavours blending together nicely, not overpowering.

ORANGE & CARDAMOM - white chocolate truffle with orange pieces and natural cardamom flavour in Belgian milk chocolate - the truffle just melts on your tongue which is tantalised by the wonderful mixture of flavours that all play together nicely, non of the flavours overpowering the other, pure ecstasy.

SALTED FUDGE & HONEYCOMB - rich butter fudge coated in a double layer of Belgian dark chocolate with honeycomb pieces - taste - you bite into the dark chocolate outer layer the bitterness of the chocolate comes through slightly then mixes with the creaminess of the rich butter fudge, which takes the edge off the dark chocolate, little crunchy bits of honeycomb unite the flavours, the saltiness comes through later in the background, but compliments the combined tastes.

ALMOND & AMARETTO - white chocolate truffle with roasted almonds and Italian Amaretto liqueur - wonderful array of flavours, creamy truffle centre, the lovely flavour of amaretto coming through, a hint of almond which is not overpowering.

CAPPUCCINO BRULEE - soft coffee centre covered with Belgian dark chocolate and sprinkled in mixed chocolate pieces - My hubby was in ecstasy over the flavour and texture of this one, I have to say I did try a nibble as coffee flavour is usually one of my favourites, I found this too strong on the cappuccino taste for my liking, but if you enjoy a cappuccino you will love this.

BLOSSOM HONEY - rich chocolate mousse with a hint of blossom honey in Belgian dark chocolate. - again a hard case of wonderful Belgian chocolate covering a smooth creamy truffle - taste - it has a bitter taste of Belgian dark chocolate and I feel that the honey flavour should be stronger to counteract the very bitter taste of the chocolate. I feel that this is chocolate is a failure compared to the others in the pack. (Maybe this is me - hubby)

NUT CLUSTER - rich hazelnut praline with roasted almond pieces covered in Belgian milk chocolate - the hard outer shell is covered with roasted almond pieces and the truffle inside again is very smooth and creamy. The nutty being crunchy on the outside but subtle to the combined flavour of the sweet.

These are definitely luxurious chocolates that need to be savoured and not rushed.

I would really like to say something negative about these chocolates, but when your husbands knees are weakening and he is definitely salivating (not for me I might add), and begging for the next variety of chocolate, it is going to be hard (now behave) to find something negative to say about these chocolates .

I have seen them priced between £4.99 and £5.99 in the confectionary section of the supermarkets - I've seen them in Morrisons and Tesco.

Calories - well if you need to ask then don't buy them, these will not help your diet.

Conclusion - I would definitely recommend these to any chocolate lover, they are a little expensive, but are well worth the money spent. Ideal to make someone feel very, very special, they are truly luxurious.

Summary: Delicious, sexy, mouth-watering, erotic and very fattening
