My mum thought Noah deserved an ice cream in cone last week so she came over with some neopolitan ice cream and these ice cream cones which cost her around £1. There is 21 cones in the box and they are packaged in three different foiled based wrappers to keep them fresh. When you open the wrapper you will notice that the cones are slotted inside each other which is very clever. When you try to get one out of the packaging they come out very easily and you will have issues with them sticking to each other. I love this time of year, the weather usually improves and we finally get a little bit of sunshine. In addition a bored six year old can finally get outside and play in the garden. Usually however he invites the entire street to come and play with him also which inevitably means that I end up spending a fortune on buying ice lollies and ice-cream cones for them all. I was shopping in my local Morrison's and decided that to save myself a fortune this year that I would invest in a rather large tub of ice-cream, a metal scoop and some Askeys cones. In the constant quest for "something different" ice cream wise, I found these little beauties hidden amongst the jellies and instant whips at my local Asda store. The product I will now review are "Askeys party cones". ~~~~~~ THE PACKAGING ~~~~~~ These come in a large rectangular box, blue and bright green in colour, on the front is the "askeys" brand name at the top over looking the product name. The title simply states "21 party cones", the 21 and the cones part of the text is a cream colour but the party part is in vivid and eye catching colours. In the right hand corner there is a ...
