Advantages: Taste yummy
Disadvantages: goes a bit soft after a while
My mum thought Noah deserved an ice cream in cone last week so she came over with some neopolitan ice cream and these ice cream cones which cost her around £1. There is 21 cones in the box and they are packaged in three different foiled based wrappers to keep them fresh.
When you open the wrapper you will notice that the cones are slotted inside each other which is very clever. When you try to get one out of the packaging they come out very easily and you will have issues with them sticking to each other.
The cones have coloured strpies all over them which brightens them up a bit and makes them more appealing to the eye. Other than that they look like a standard cone you would get from an ice cream van.
I always think of an ice cream cone tasting a bit like cardboard but I was pleasantly surprised with these. They have a nice sweetness to them that isn't over whelming. When you pop a bit of ice cream on top, the ice cream melts down the middle of the cone and you get a nice crunchy flavoured cone.
The cones do have a little ridge around the top to hold the ice cream inside but I have to say that this doesn't really do anything because we have ended up with a couple of scoops of ice cream on the floor on a few occasions.
The great thing about these cones is that they only contain 13 calories each so if I fancy something sweet then I eat one of these to try and curb my craving a bit.
The only down side to these cones is that they go a bit soft after the ice cream has melted on to them.
These cones come highly recommended from me! They are great for all of these sunny days we are having and are a reasonable price!
Summary: Have an ice cream in a cone!
