The honey flavour isn't very strong though and I wouldn't say the parsnips tasted exactly of honey even though it has given them a yummy sweet taste. In Asda they're selling the 600g bags of Aunt Bessies Honey Galzed Roast Parsnips for £1.00 a bag. I love roast parsnips and for that price thought they were worth trying. They're yummy and I thought they were wicked, they taste dead fresh and the parsnips were lovely and sweet. The natural sweet flavour of the parsnips comes through as they're roasting and then the honey glaze of them makes them sweeter again. When we roast our own parsnips we don't add any glaze or anything so I was a bit worried about using something that was going to taste of honey with my dinner. Aunt Bessie Honey Glazed Roast Parsnips are £2.09 for a 750g bag in Tesco. It's a little bit more than you'd pay if you bought fresh parsnips to glaze yourself, but to be honest, it's really not a whole lot more. A 750g bag of plain Tesco own parsnips costs £1, then there's the chore of peeling and dicing them all plus adding the honey glaze to consider. So the first thing to appreciate about these is that they're really quite affordable, and they cut out a lot of the hard work!
