However I did as I was told and waited 45-50 minutes on Gas Mark 4 for the result, turning the pie around half way through. After the time was up I removed the pie from the oven. It wasn't burnt in anyway and the smell of fruit was wafting around the kitchen. Absolutely gorgeous. My daughter then helped me cut the pie, and this was really the only disappointment. I'm not sure about others, but as these chillier nights come in, I can't think of anything nicer than having a nice hot pudding. Usually it involves fruit and custard/ice cream. Last night I was in Iceland when I noticed they had an offer on. It was for Aunt Bessies Morello Cherry Pie and they were only charging £1. I've bought these before for £1.59 from Tesco and I knew I liked them, so I put one in the trolley. Upon arriving home I prepared my tea, and then popped the pie in the oven.
