Babybel cheeses are one of my favorite snacks, and they're easy to put in kids lunchboxes, take on picnics or serve at parties. To begin with, they just made one type, but now you can buy Light, Mild Cheddar, Gourda or Origonal. The Origonal ones are definetly my favorite, but with less calories, the lights are perfect for dieters. Packaging - you can sometimes buy babybels individually, but they more often come in a red net bag. The cheeses are wrapped in red wax and then red plastic with the babybel logo on the front, for freshess. Each cheese is about 20 grams, and the size of a hockey puck. You unwrap the cheeses by pulling a little paper strip in the ... Read the complete review

I have been buying Babybel cheeses for years now. My children spotted them one day in the supermarket and said 'can we try these Mum?' Since then I always have some in the fridge. Babybels you say - what are those? Well they are the numerous small round(ish) red cheeses you can buy in a white plastic net from the supermarket chiller shelves. They are round, but like a squashed football, and around 1 inch or so in diameter. You usually get six in a net, although this Christmas I did find 12 contained in a festive red net rather than the normal white! A net of six costs around £1.30. Each individual cheese weighs in at 20g and is wrapped in bright red ... Read the complete review

I remember my first trip to France, when I was 12 . A bunch of rowdy British almost- teens running riot in the hypermarkets, chased by teachers trying to stop us buying anything inappropriate . I didn't buy anything too naughty, but I did come back with a net of Mini Babybel cheeses! Never before had I seen something so wonderful, so exotic, so brilliant as individually wrapped mini cheeses. I took one bite of these exotic delights, and I was smitten . Over the years Babybel have become popular over here too . No longer so exotic and mysterious, since you can find them on the shelves of every major supermarket nowadays, and often see more than one ... Read the complete review

I quite often like a cheese snack and I normally opt for a block of plain cheddar cheese to satisfy my cravings, or thick slices of cheddar on my sandwich with coleslaw! However sometimes the only thing that will do, is a baby bel! One I've tried recently is the regular baby bel! They are sold in all supermarkets such as Asda and Tesco and can be found in the dairy aisle alongside the likes of cheese strings, lunchables and dairy lea dunkers! They also come in different sized packets with different quantities. This is a plus side. You can get them in bags of 12 or in bags of 6. We usually buy the 12 pack though! The pack of 6 costs £1.58 and the 12 pack costs ... Read the complete review

I started buying Babybel for a light snack in between meals. I like cheese and I thought this would be a good way of having something that was small and tasty but would hopefully be enough to fill me up! There are a few varieties of Babybel and for clarification the one I have here is the Cheddar flavour. When you buy Babybel, you get a packet of six individually wrapped 20g cheeses (i.e. 120g of cheese in each packet) held in a netted 'bag', to which a purple, in this case, tag is attached. The tag tells you about what is inside, and the relevant points on this one are the description of the flavour, which is 'mild', the best before ... Read the complete review
