... 125g box which is designed to look fairly simple yet stylish and quite sophistic. They cost around £1.40 (Tesco), but I bought these when they were on offer for £1. They are described as having "more chocolate than a biscuit", suggesting that the top layer of chocolate on top of the butter biscuit base is thicker than you tend to get, and I would agree. On opening the box, you can see the 12 biscuits sat inside a plastic tray to keep them separated and in good condition, no more broken biscuit pieces ...more

Premium Review Bahlsen Choco Leibniz Milk Chocolate: Lots of chocolate. (283 words)

Bahlsen have been making biscuits for over 100 years, their headquarters in Hanover, Germany, they now make and market biscuits in many other countries too. Bahlsen make several varieties of chocolate biscuit but the one I chose was a milk chocolate one. I bought my 125g pack at Tescos price was £1.25p for a packet. You can also buy them at other supermarkets for around the same price. The packet a slim rectangular cardboard one. Inside a plastic tray with 3 compartments each one containing 4 biscuits. . The biscuits are rectangular. A sweet buttery golden brown biscuit which has been half dipped in dairy milk chocolate. The frilly edge of the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Sehr Yummy German Choco (354 words)

I hadn't heard of Bahlsen before buying these choccy biscuits a few months ago, and thought at first they would be quite average if it weren't for them costing £1.40 per box. Choco Leibniz are quite simply chocolate biscuits, though they do stand out from your average biscuits. Although I hadn't heard of this German brand before, I have seen them in most supermarkets so they must be fairly popular. These are available in dark chocolate, and I believe orange too, but this review is for the regular milk chocolate variety. Choco Liebniz are sold in a 125g box which is designed to look fairly simple yet stylish and quite sophistic. They cost ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bahlsen Choco Leibniz Milk Chocolate: Delicious thick chocolate (238 words)

I love these biscuits but tend to buy them as a special treat only as they are quite expensive - £1.48 for a packet usually in Morrisons. I buy them occasionally and always plan for them to last a while but end up eating half the packet! Morrisons are currently doing them half price 74p so i have bought a couple of packs to keep me going! There are 12 biscuits in each pack and they are so well packaged I have never had broken ones. They come in a fairly sturdy cardboard pack and sit in threes in a plastic tray inside. The biscuits are buttery and delicious and the chocolate on top is very thick and is creamy delicious tasting chocolate ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Biscuit that's more chocolate than biscuit (253 words)

These biscuits really didn't catch my eye until they were on offer because somehow the packaging is quite dull and they don't look that interesting but I was really missing out! I think what I like about these biscuits is that you get as much chocolate as biscuit so it's not just like having a chocolate covered biscuit - it's much better than that. The biscuit is nice - it's buttery an sweet and a nice crunchy texture but these are really more about the chocolate. Luckily the chocolate is nice too. Very nice in fact. The chocolate is smooth and creamy and with a nice high cocoa content. These will definitely satisfy a chocolate craving and you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Bahlsen Choco Leibniz Milk Chocolate: Quality Rather Than Quantity (478 words)

Mmm chocolate and biscuits all in one! Now that is something that I really like to eat, although they are unhealthy they are still really good. One of my favourite types has to be Bahlsen Choco Leibniz Milk Chocolate. These are from a German company but are very popular in the U.K and are in most Supermarkets. I buy my boxes from Tesco at £1.49 for a 125g box. In each box you get 12 biscuits which may not seem like many for that price but in this case it's quality over quantity and these biscuits certainly are quality! The box they come in yellow with a little blue bit in the top left hand corner which had the company logo on it. In the large yellow area there ...  Read the complete review
