 ... herbs inside them are dried you don't have to worry that they are going to go off even if you're not using them on a daily or weekly basis. There's only one problem with them and that's that the sachets come in a normal sized herb jar, the bags are big and sometimes I worry I'm going to rip one of the sachets as I pull it out of the jar. I love using Bouquet Garni sachets because it's such a quick and easy way to add herbs to anything your cooking. Last night I cooked a lasagne and added a sachet to the white sauce for the topping and it gave it a delish flavour that I couldn't have got by mixing and adding my own herbs. Bart's Bouquet Garni sachets are a brill idea, they're like big teabags that you use in anything that has got a liquid sauce and the flavour of the herbs will seep into the sauce to give a wicked flavour. Until I got married in 1986 I had never heard of Bouquet Garni, and even though I got divorced 7 years ago now my love affair with these fragrant little square teabag-style bags has long continued to flourish. It was my Ex-Mother-in-law who first introduced me to these little bundles of sweet-flavoured herbs which she used to add the essence of Thyme, Parsley, Bay Leaves and Marjoram to many of her home-made dishes.
