This is something I discovered very recently, when I was looking for something sweet to munch on when taking the train home from work. It was on the bottom of the kids' sweets shelf in Tesco, and felt lovely and soft. Flumps comes packaged in a blue and pink plastic wrapper, which is easy to tear open from the seam. Inside is a marshmallow sweet, which is shaped into an approximately 20 cm long twist of two intertwining strands, one white, one light pink. When you take the sweet out of the wrapper, it feels very fresh and soft, and gives a lovely faint marshmallow fragrance. The surface is silky and is covered in very very fine white flower, which ... I absolutely loooooove Flumps! With its soft, fluffy texture and it's sweet taste. It's heaven for my taste buds. I've loved marshmallow's since I was a kid, I've always had a bit of a sweet tooth, and I've got to say that Flumps are my favourite type of marshmallow. Some cheaply made marshmallow's can be a bit dry and sticky. But flumps are fluffy, light and oh so yummy. - Packaging - A little heat sealed plastic packet to keep the flump nice and soft. The packet is colourful and bold just like the contents. - Price - At just 10p for a wonderfully flump-alicious 15g treat, you can't really say anything bad. It's a tasty ... Read the complete review

I love marshmallows and like to buy them often my favourite marshmallow of all is Bassett's Flump's they are wonderful! I normally buy them from vending machines for a mere 10p for a 15cm long marshmallow. However I recently discovered that you can get them from Tesco's for a mere 8p!! It's a very soft marshmallow, not too chewy and it doesn't stick to your teeth which is brilliant. It is long and is made up from 4 strands of marshmallow, two pink and two yellow which are twisted together. They come in a plastic wrapper which is yellow and pink with blue ends and the word Flump written on the front in bubble writing making it look like it's made ... Read the complete review

I tend to pick up a few of these as a treat for my two year. He loves them and they are usually gone in a matter of seconds. I'm not particularly keen on marshmallows but today I fancied something sweet but didn't want to go overboard what with being on a diet! What are they? These flumps are made by Bassetts and are around 15cms long. They cost 10p each and I've seen them at just about every supermarket in my local area. The flump is packaged in a plastic wrapper that makes a nice crinkling sound when you hold it. It has a clear window so you can see some of the flump inside. The end is easy to tear open although my two year old often relies ... Read the complete review

Flumps are probably familiar to most people, perhaps as a memory from childhood, but it is always worth explaining why they are so fantastic and also bringing them to the attention of any poor person who has yet to try them. Basset's flumps are the original (and although I don't like propping up the brands, they are the best!) and are by far the most widely enjoyed. They come in a clear thin plastic packet with blue ends and the yellow word flumps across the centre which is fairly distinctive for a small sweet package. On opening the package the sweet smell of the flump comes out, the forerunner of the taste. The texture of the flump is very similar ... Read the complete review
