Advantages: taste
Disadvantages: high in sugar
In a world where 10p can only get you about 3 things, one of them is a flump. My 2 year old pronounces it 'flomp', which is always funny.
So what are they? They're marshmallow sticks that contain different coloured marshmallow strings twisted together. You wouldn't think there's a lot you can say about marshmallow, but let me think! First up, these are incredibly soft, which is always nice. It practically melts on your tongue. The consistency is light and airy, which makes it very easy to eat quickly.
Taste-wise, they're ultra sweet, and this is testament to the amount of sugar in them. Indeed, they hold very little that's any good nutritionally, so don't eat too many.
Because of their price, these often get given to little kids, but beware - they will get hands very sticky when they've been dribbled on a bit (I should know).
For me, the portion is just too small, and I much prefer a big bag of princess marshmallows, which are super tasty. I suppose the size of the portion is another thing that makes these ideal for little ones, so that's who they're targetting.
All in all, a simple sweet that tastes as sugary as you can get. At the bargain price it's at, it won't break the bank, but the sugar will soon rot your teeth if you don't be careful.
Summary: do it
