 ... flavour. The sweetness isn't the same and I actually prefer it and they also seem to have a different feel. In the tinned peas I find them to be slightly harder and it gives them more bite, however I have had the odd tin that was probably bashed about and looked more like mushy peas but anyway they are very different to garden peas and I find that they go particularly well with fish and chips much better in fact than garden peas. I think that I am probably in the minority amongst my friends as I actually prefer tinned peas to garden peas. So I am hear to encourage others to give thema a try. These Batchelors Bigga marrowfat peas are just so yummy. They are bigga than your average scrawny little garden peas and they pack in a different kind of flavour.
