Batchelors Pasta and Sauce

Newest Review: ... Every now and then they bring out a limited edition flavour, a while ago they had an Italian range including carbonora and Bolognese flavours. I haven't tried every flavour, but I would say that I definitely recommend the mild cheese and broccoli flavour! The cooking time is around 15 minutes, this may seem a lot for a ready meal but its minimal effort and you can be doing something else at the same time! You bring around 300ml of water, 150ml of milk and a knob of butter to the boil before adding the contents of the packet to pan and letting it simmer for 8-10 minutes on a medium heat. I sometimes find around 12-14 minutes is best ... more

Batchelors pasta and sauce comes in a variety of flavours but I am going to just talk about my two favourites which are macaroni cheese and mild cheese and brocolli. I'm someone who generally likes to cook my meals from scratch but we all have those days when we can't be bothered peeling or chopping and for those days Batchelors pasta 'n' sauce is great to have in the cupboard to make a tasty and substantial plate of food in a few minutes with very little fuss. Another bonus is that these packets of pasta will not break the bank as they generally cost less than £1 each and are also frequently on special offer when you can stock up on them even cheaper and ...  Read the complete review

Batchelors pasta n sauce is a delicious meal, which is substantial for lunch and even dinner. They are quite easy to cook, very flavoursome and don't take too long to cook either. They come in sky blue ranging from 108-123g in weight. They come in four different varieties, which each taste very nice: Chicken & Mushroom Cheese, Leek & Ham Macaroni Cheese Mild Cheese & Broccoli Mushroom & Wine I have tried three of these 5 flavours and I must say my favourite is the Chicken & Mushroom variety and I'd choose this over any other. You need to add some water and milk and a drop of butter (optional) for this flavour ...  Read the complete review

This is another little wonder I've been living off in the time withut a fridge! Batchelor's Pasta N Sauce ranges comes in a variety of flavours : Chicken and Mushroom, Tomato Onion and Herbs, Cheese and Ham, Mushroom and Wine, and the one I'm reviewing today, Macaroni Cheese. I've actually had two packs of this in my cupboard since last november, when I bought them on a buy one got one free deal from Iceland, and they still have until march 2010 on them. I never got round to eating them, I think because in the time it takes to cook them on the hob I could whisk up a fresh macaroni cheese before baking it in the oven. But a few days ago I decided that I might ...  Read the complete review

Although I love Patsa I hadn't tried this before seeing it on special offer. I think the normal price is approx. 80p per pack. When I bought it , the offer was three for £1. It was just the right time to try it. I am very glad that I did too. Let me tell you why... What is it called ? Pasta'n'sauce Who makes it ? Batchelors The packaging ? This product comes in a paper pouch. The Batchelors name is on the front but not very prominant. There is a lovely big picture of the product though and having had the product this picture is very true to life. The flavour is well displayed too (each different flavour is on a ...  Read the complete review
