Advantages: Everything. Price, taste and versatility

Bachelors' super noodles are the bee knees, the cat's pyjamas, the dog's b..... Well you get the idea. Many people turn there nose up at the idea of them, and often tarnish them with the same brush as pot noodles. They are fools. Strong statement I know. Bachelors' super noodles have a large range of flavours, and there versatility is amazing.

When I first left home and went to uni, having got my own place, I found money was tight (mainly due to wanting to be out with friends every night). I soon discovered that packs of dried noodles where a great stomach filler and cost little. Me and my friends found that mixing a pack of noodles and a tin of hot dogs made a great meal, and came to no less than eighty pence. We often found them on special promotions in supermarkets, and therefore the cost went down even further, leaving us more cash for partying. I understand that I was irresponsible, and I should of know that a balanced diet of healthier food would of helped me be less lethargic and more keen to learn at the time, but then here we are.

As time went on and my shopping budget got a little larger, I discovered Bachelors super noodles. These noodles are a vast improvement to other brands of dried noodles in every way. They may cost a little more than supermarkets own brands, but they have many more advantages. Firstly, they come in a larger pack. Secondly, the range of flavours isn't limited to beef, chicken or curry. The other benefits of the Bachelors' range of noodles over the others also included the way you could cook them. In the past, dried noodles were limited to boiling in a pan of water (hence why we use to add tinned hotdogs). Bachelors' super noodles can now be made in the microwave.

My wife isn't fond of them (she's not a pasta fan), but I still keep the food cupboard supply of them full, because they make a quick and easy meal. They take five to six minutes in the microwave and taste great on any cold night after work, or even when you want snack. I also should mention they now do a low fat range (just in case your health conscious). As I stated at the begining of my review, there are certain people who may turn there nose up at super noodles, but Bachelors' super noodles versatility and taste are great. Try these few examples. Noodle sandwiches to create a tasty snack (add grated cheese, especially to the bacon flavour pack when cooking), or add tinned hotdogs or sliced pepperoni to bulk up the portion (classics are the best), or even use them as a side dish to a main meal. The Thai range is great to mix with a good curry or try using the noodles (without the flavouring sachet) with a mince and bolognaise sauce. The other great thing about Bachelors' super noodles is that they also come with recipe ideas on the pack. With super noodles the world is your oyster.

Sorry, I maybe getting carried away with this review on Bachelors tasty super noodles, but in conclusion, Bachelors' super noodles are, affordable, great tasting, versatile and come in a large range. Enjoy.

Summary: Not just student food.
