Beetroot is one of the vegetables that is very easy to grow but takes time to cook and because of its vivid colour can stain fingers, work tops and clothes. I therefore tend to by it from the supermarket in jars. Baxters have been making quality beetroot since 1920s. The beetroot is hand picked to ensure freshness and quality and I can say I have never been disappointed with the quality of this product. The one thing that we all are in our agreement on in my home is our love of beetroot. Occasionally we have home made stuff but I'm not keen on my Mothers offering and actually prefer shop bought to be honest.
