To look at, the cheese comes in a cylandrical shape covered in a black wax ( usually in a 3kg truckle), when it is cut it looks like cheddar cheese but with speckles of the herbs and spices in it. I love cheese! Unfortunatly I don't eat it as much as I would like these days as I am always trying to keep control of my weight. But every now and then we will have a naughty nibble and endulge in a lovely cheeseboard with small portions of any different and new cheeses we see. It was while purchasing cheeses for such a nibble that I came across two different types of Beer Cheeses - one English and one German. I can assure you that I am in no way biased with my choice but do prefer the English variety very much.
