I'm feeling sorry for myself today. So sorry I had to walk to Sainsbury's and part with lots of cash for a tub of something cold and sickly, so that I could then have a binging session, and then feel even worse about myself... Our Local Sainsbury's on the high street is very limited in it's ice cream range. A few tubs of Haagen Dazs Baileys, which I don't like, and some Ben & Jerry's 'Karamel Karma Sutra', which sounded just the ticket. I parted with my £3.79 and walked the two minutes home to spend the afternoon with the sofa and a spoon. I didn't read the lid first, but was expecting beige caramel ice cream, so was suprised ... I had finished making my way around Sainsburys yesterday when, as I strode to the checkout to part with my money, I took a wrong turn and ended up face to face with the ice creams. Having been following the Weight Watchers diet for the best part of 9 months, I usually avoid this aisle completely. I took it as fate and let my eyes roam longingly over the display of Ben and Jerry's tubs. My eyes came to rest upon a flavour which I hadn't seen before and left me wondering what a "Karamel Sutra" ice cream could be used for (!!) Sadly I just couldn't resist temptation this time (sorry Anne, my Weight Watcher's leader, ... Read the complete review

Who would believe that Ben and Jerry?s could keep coming up with new ideas for flavours of ice cream? They have done it once again with Karamel Sutra (don?t you just love the names they invent?). Obviously this ice cream should be eaten with your husband, boyfriend, lesbian life partner or lover. POSITIONS FOR CONSUMPTION 1. Lie flat on your back with your legs open and raised in the air. Your lover should lie down on their stomach with their head reaching your chest and feed you ice cream from the spoon. 2. Sit on a chair in the centre of the room. Your lover must hook their knees over the central light fitting and dangle upside-down, from ... Read the complete review

It has been so long since I’ve had it, far too long. I have been missing it so much, that I found myself obsessed, hardly able to think of anything else. I would spend time during the day working out how to get it, then I would toss and turn all night in bed, dreaming of it. I wanted it so bad, things were getting desperate. Finally today, I got some! Yes, a tub of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream! (In fact, it was two tubs for £5 at Sainsbury’s, so I got a Cookie Dough too.) I am a self-confessed ice cream addict, but being short of money at the moment has meant I have had to go without. Even offering my hubby sexual favours hasn’t persuaded ... Read the complete review

Ben & Jerry's Karamel Sutra was possibly the most amazing ice cream to ever grace my freezer draw. But unfortunately, I'm sad to report that it's been AWOL from the supermarket shelves for quite some time now. It was a limited edition ice cream from Ben & Jerry's which meant its eventual disappearance was inevitable at some point but that doesn't mean it won't return at some point - especially if the manufacturers read lots of reviews like this! The texture of this ice cream is just amazing. It's smooth, it's slick, it even coats your throat on the way down. It's jam packed with a great huge dollop of caramel sauce swirled right through it ... Read the complete review
