Advantages: Great taste
Disadvantages: Calories
I do love Ben and Jerry ice cream and Bohemian Raspberry is a brilliantly named and a super product that has the words to that classic Queen song running through your head.
This is a lovely combination of vanilla ice cream with raspberry sauce swirlked into it and then there are chunks of chocolate fudge brownie thrown in for good easure. The three flavours combine wonderfully wel together and are a taste sensation in your mouth. The vanilla ice cream is smooth and creamy with a lovely vanilla flavouring to it, it has a pure taste and does not appear artificial in any way.
The raspberry puree sauce has a fruity flavour of raspberries and is quite strong and it combines really well with the rich chocolate fudge brownie chunks. The brownie chunks are soft and gooey and have a lovely chewy texture to them and they add body to the ice cream.
The ice cream is a lovely hodge podge of flavours and visually it has a bark red look to it which sort of stains the vanilla ice cream, it comes in the standard, funky designed Ben and Jerry's half pint pot style carton and is a real traet even on those evenings where it is getting colder as winter draws in.
Summary: Super ice cream
