Ben and Jerrys is one of those premium price ice cream brands which you pay a little extra for but on the whole it can be worth that extra money as their products are pretty good. They have a bit of a hippy feel to them as the two founders of the company are pictured on the tub (it looks nothing like the Dooyoo picture) and they look like they are still living in the sixties. The fish food ice cream is not as disgusting as it sounds, in fact it is really nice, it contains a lovely creamy chocolate chip ice cream with nice big chunks of plain dark chocolate which are in the shape of little fish. It definately helps if you are a lover of chocolate as the plain ... Read the complete review

Ooooh...its delicious! Ben and Jerry the founders of the company hail from Vermont USA and they claim that their icecreams are inspired by living in that area. It is described as Chocolate Ice Cream, Marshmallow, Caramel & Chocolatey Chunks. I don't normally enjoy chocolate ice cream as I end up getting bored with it half way through. But this is just divine! The fish shaped chocolatey chunks are really big and the caramel is so rich. It is hard to describe the flavour and do it justice! You just have to taste it to believe how good it is. The ice cream itself is made with pure dairy cream from family farms. The texture is really velvety so you ... Read the complete review

Well it is a very bizzare name, and when i first heard it i actually thought that it was meant to taste like fish food. luckily it doesnt! I do not usually like chocolate ice cream of any varyity, but ben and jerrys is very different. It tastes incredible. It has marshmalowy bits in it! and little chocolate fish! It is a special treat for us at chirstmas or birthdays, or when we do well in exams. Having said all that, with much gusto, it is very expensive, and i would probably opt for a cheaper option, being a cheapskate myself, unless i wanted a real treat. I think that this is the best ben and jerrys flavour, and its ethically good as well because they are starting to ... Read the complete review

I was not really very sure of what to expect when I first came across Ben and Jerry?s Phish Food ice-cream. Why would you mix those foul smelling little flakes that as a child I used to feed to my two pet goldfish, Tarzan and Killer Whale (May 1975 to August 1976 RIP), with that most wonderful of summer delights ice-cream. The riddle was solved thanks to a TGI Friday menu, which explained the real nature of the contents so when I noticed it on special offer (buy two for £5) I decided to give it a try. I have long been a fan of Ben and Jerry ice-cream especially Cherry Garcia flavour. The two partners started their ice-cream empire in rural Vermont in 1978 and ... Read the complete review

Most people will be familiar with at least the Ben and Jerry’s name as purveyor of fine ice creams. If not, well you should be. Unless of course you have absolutely no sweet tooth or are diabetic or something in which case I’ll let you off, just. Inspired flavours such as The Full Vermonty (mapley pecan and yummy) sit alongside the blatantly hedonistic New York Super Fudge Chunk (white/dark chocolate with pecans, walnuts and almonds) and the truly scrumptious Cherry Garcia (cherry ice cream with cherries and dark chocolate pieces). All highly original and highly recommended. For some reason though, despite the diversity of flavours available, ... Read the complete review
