The strange name of this ice cream comes from a band called Phish who are based in Vermont (Thanks Ermintrude) the home town of Ben & Jerry's. But I'm not going to bore you with a load of details about the company, they have good website if you really want to know.

So for the important information, firstly a warning, this ice cream is seriously addictive, it will make you greedy and selfish! Want to know why? Read on...

It's one of those combinations you'd have chosen in an ice cream parlour as a child, only to hear "you can't mix that together it'll make you sick" from your mother. Well this was a time mother certainly did not know best. This fantastic combination of smooth creamy rich chocolatey ice cream with lashings of thick gooey Marshmallow ribbons, sweet Caramel swirls and chocolate chips. Actually if you slow down for just a minute you may notice the chocolate chips are actually in little fish shapes, but you'd be forgiven for not taking the time to notice!

My recommendation is to stash it away at the back of the freezer, if possible invest in a bag of frozen sprouts to hide it under. (who is honestly ever going ot bother moving frozen sprouts!) Then when the coast is clear grab the tub and a spoon, curl up on the sofa and indulge. This is not Haagen Dazs, I do not encourage you to share it with your "significant other", it only comes in a 500ml tub, there is not enough to share. Actually that is a lie you can also get it on a stick, shaped like a fish and covered in chocolate but this is not even big enough for one.

So rush out and buy some, but please don't go to my local Sainsbury's or I'll be very upset if there's none left when I get there!
