Yes another opinion by me about something that I shouldn't be eating!

Ice cream, well I blame my hubby really he has had a real craving for the stuff and so I get to try out loads but not eating too much so I suppose its ok really!!

Anyway on the opinion of the gorgeous ice cream - Ben & Jerrys The Full Vermonty, this has got to be the best flavour I have tasted yet!

Be warned if you dislike nuts or are allergic to them then this flavor is not for you, but as neither of those apply to me then I can eat as much as I like (within reason).

Before I go any further I will give you the description on the tub "Maple Ice cream, Roasted Pecans and a Caramel swirl" right now for my verdict on these ingredients

MAPLE ICE CREAM is very subtle and not over powering at all
ROASTED PECANS are not chopped but the natural size of pecans and are just heaven when eaten with the ice cream
CARAMEL SWIRL this again is just the right amount of caramel and not at all over powering.

The flavours seem to be in harmony with one another and they really really do work.

There is plenty of all three elements right through the ice cream right to the bottom of the tub, I was really pleased that I kept on finding the nuts.

If you can't tell already from the above I really love this ice cream and when I want a real treat I will buy it for myself again.

The website (for anyone that did not read my previous Ben & Jerrys op) is www.benjerry.co.uk and it is a very colourful and informative website I really recommend taking a peek.

There is a little more detail on the tub "We can't keep this under out hats any longer- welcome to the debut of a flavourful celebration of our home state of Vermont's legendary area! We start with pure cream from local family farms and make it into the Full Vermonty, manly maple ice cream full of Vermont maple syrup, roasted pecans and a golden ca
ramel swirl."

Looking on the website I can see that this flavour had 280 calories per 100g and 18g of fat with 9g being saturated fat, so I really shouldn't be eating this at all! Oh well I enjoyed it and that is the main thing about life isn't it?? Also on their website they state that "Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream is made from all natural milk, cream sugar and eggs and we add only all natural flavourings and stabilisers." They also have an american website http://www.benjerry.com

Phish food is the current No 1 flavour in the UK but Phish Food would be my second choice!

This cost me £4.09 from Safeway and was slightly more expensive than most of the other flavours but the taste is well worth that, I must just quickly add that I actually ate this tub by myself but over 3 nights!!

Thanks for reading and please leave comments if you so wish, they will be much appreciated.

Amanda, who has now found her ideal ice cream.

Not really a fan of whole nuts. I'm glad B&J so expensive too - or else I'd buy loads!

I reckon I could manage some of that. Lovely! - Kay
