Despite my numerous attempts at shifting a few extra pounds, ice cream still remains my Achilles heel. And for some reason, my taste in ice cream remains expensive with Ben and Jerry's and Haagen Dazs being the usual brands to frequent my freezer. A couple of weeks ago, Haagen Dazs had been on offer in Tesco so I decided to stock up only to find the freezer shelves were full and the offer now defunct. So, in my bid to satisfy my expensive ice cream offer whilst on a budget, I opted or Ben and Jerry's 'Wich, which is currently £2.99 for a pack of 3 in Tesco. For those of you who aren't familiar with Ben and Jerry's, the now infamous Ben and Jerry were ... Read the complete review

My Ben & Jerrys 'Wich experiances have been far and few, and as i chomped into rare one today, it struck me that i could write a review for this tasty treat as i am now a proud member of doo yoo community. Ben & Jerry's are a well known (expensive) ice cream brand which boast a number of different origional flavours ie. cookie dough. Therefore it surprised to learn that they had created some thing known as a wich as from the packet you can see it diverses from their other products. I could not resist and had to buy the 124gram packet, which cost me £1.89 from blockbuster...which also added to the peculiarity of the evening. Anyways i got ... Read the complete review

When I first discovered the Ben and Jerry's 'Wich, I thought it was the most amazing thing I had ever tried. I then didn't have it for a few months and when I tried it again, I was quite disappointed. I don't know if they was because I had built it up in my head to be so utterly incredible or whether the recipe had changed. It is a good ice-cream but rather sweet and a whole one makes me feel a bit sick. The Ben and Jerry's 'Wich is too cookies with vanilla ice cream between them. The ice cream contained small chocolate chip pieces. The cookies are soft and chewy due to the ice cream. They are really delicious but a little goes a long way. The 'Wich is ... I LOVE Ben & Jerry's ice cream so when I saw these in the freezer cabinet I was soooo excited! You can buy 3 in a box or just single ones from the cinema. Essentially what the 'Wich is, is a cookie and ice cream sandwich- yum! The cookies are the gorgeous soft chewy type with swirls of chocolate in them. The ice cream is vanilla with chocolate chips and quite plain but still very yummy. This is a totally scrumptious concotion but then with ingredients which include 15% cream that isn't suprising really! These are also a reasonable size although that probably doesn't help the calorie count! However with some gorgeous ingredients come some ... Read the complete review
