... m getting to the end of my Christmas chocolate stash and a half-eaten box of Bendick s Mingles is still sitting there awaiting to be scoffed, but I just don t feel great enthusiasm to eat it and would rather stick to the remnants of my tin of Roses for the time being. But why am I not particularly bothered about these chocolates? From appearances Mingles looks fantastic for those (like myself) who adore mint chocolate. You are given five varieties of chocolates all with a hint of mint . My favourite was the one with brown tips which contains dark chocolate with a fondant mint centre . ... received a box of these Bendicks Mints from my partner. I was a bit confused as to why at the time, seeing as I am not a huge fan of mints, but I decided to try them anyway (after all, they are chocolate, and I don t mind mild mints such as After Eights or Twilights). However, having tried them once, I shall certainly not be doing so again. The chocolates come in a fancy, expensive looking dark green box with gold embossed edging and writing. Once you lift off the lid, you see the most nicely presented box of chocolates I have seen in a long time, if ever: they are all really beautifully laid out in a black tray. ... another new year has dawned - Happy New Year everyone - and with it my resolutions to keep losing weight, stay fit and eat healthily. This has ment that since Christmas we have been trying desperately to eat up all that naughty food that we seem to acquire over the festive period. I was deliberately leaving the best until last though which was why last night saw us finishing off my favourite Bendicks Mint Collection! I pretty much like everything about this box of chocolates from its sleek elegnt box to the deliciously dusky dark chocolate.
