Chicken Kiev are one thing I have never been any good at making myself so I tend to always buy them, usually I go for the Marks and Spencers ones as they are really nice but in the supermarket the other day these were on special offer of two packs for £2.50 so I thought I would give them a try. Bernard Matthews is a manufactorer of frozen and fresh meats that has filed family freezers for decades. With a portfolio of mainly chicken produce created in a mass varitey of different ways. The chicken kiev of which i reviewed, a favourite choice, graced my plate with chips and peas. I cooked this to the guidelines (but cooked in an aga you detract about 4 minutes. The kiev looks very appetizing when taken out the oven but thats where the standard starts to fall. Firstly I would like to say I was stunned to find out that poor old Bernard Matthews was Deceased and felt a sorrow in my heart for this as his produce has always graced our tables. My heart goes out to his family at their loss. Especially as they have had a hard time of it with the Bird flu epidemic ranging through theirs and other close by farms it had to be a hard thing to cope with. With that said I would like to write my review on the Chicken Kievs we have all so long enjoyed.
