However on the opening the box I was rather disappointed, the portions of rice and curry were very small and looked rather grey and unappealing. Too late now though I've bought the thing so I'll have to eat it. Cooking - The curry takes 40 minutes to cook from frozen in the oven or 8 minutes in the microwave, I chose to use t...more

It was the day before payday and I was skint and hungry. With only a couple of quid in my pocket I was limited to what I could buy so I picked up Birds Eye beef curry with rice for dinner. Packaging ======= This frozen ready meal is sold in a cardboard carton with a picture of some delicious looking curry and rice on the front. The curry itself is housed in a plastic tray split into separate sections for the curry and rice. Cooking Instructions =============== Simply microwave for 11 minutes, stirring once after 8 minutes. Appearance ======== The cooked curry didn't look too promising. The rice looked ...  Read the complete review
