I'm a big curry lover and usually make my own as I like to know exactly what goes in my food plus I can control the fat and salt content to make them as healthy as possible, at times however it's not always possible to cook from scratch and thats when redy meals do have their place. A couple of weeks before last Xmas my boyfriend and I both went down with the flu, we spent a whole weekends stuck in bed with only enough energy to raise our heads off the pillow, look at each other and whisper meh! Well what a strange day today has been. Holly my daughter has a virus and is eating about enough to keep a sparrow alive but I don't blame her, every time something goes in her mouth it causes a coughing fit, and Darren my husband is working a shift of 3 pm till whenever the job is finished and he gets home. It was the day before payday and I was skint and hungry. With only a couple of quid in my pocket I was limited to what I could buy so I picked up Birds Eye beef curry with rice for dinner. Packaging ======= This frozen ready meal is sold in a cardboard carton with a picture of some delicious looking curry and rice on the front.
