Being a student I always try to eat a balanced diet but do find myself sticking to a lot of the things that I can pick up on offer. I am also a big fan of quick meals with working too so I like oven food which is still good but literally is placed on a tray and taken care of. When on my weekly shopping trip a few weeks back I was at the freezer section when I came across an offer on Birdseye Chicken Chargills with Reggae Reggae sauce. I have heard of this before and know the Reggae Reggae sauce has been used in Subway as well but had never tried it. I got the idea in my head that it would be too spicy so had avoided it up until now but when glancing down at my basket ... Read the complete review

I got these Reggae Reggae chicken chargrills in Tesco for £1.00 and they are absolutely delish. I don't mind Chicken Chargrills but I prefer proper chicken breasts but the flavour of these is wicked with a lovely spicy taste that goes good in a wrap or even just on it's own as a quick snack during the day. The chargrills are chopped and reshaped chicken breasts that have got a glaze on the top of them and it's the glaze that is flavoured with the Reggae Reggae sauce. I've had the sauce before in the bottle and on the chargrills it's not half as spicy and is easy to eat, not like some spicy frozen food I could mention!!! They cook good in the ... I had seen these advertised on tv and thought they looked very nice. I like to try new things so when I visited my local asda they had got them on a special deal at £1 if that wasn't an excuse to pick them up I don't know what is. Packaging These are in a small box which is yellow and orange with a big birdseye sign on the top. There is also a picture of the chicken breast on the front and the words reggae reggae on the jamacan stripes. On the side of the box it gives you the careline number if you have any problems. On the back of the packaging it is full of information that is helpful to the consumer. ... Read the complete review

I enjoy the Birds Eye range of Chicken Chargrills, finding them ideal for a quick and easy meal in a tortilla or tossed with a salad. The problem is I get rather bored of the same flavours as it seems an awfully long time since Birds Eye introduced a new variety of Chargrill. However, in Tesco last week I noticed a box I hadn't seen before - a smiling Levi Roots and a snippet of red, gold and green emblazoned on the front of the box made me think of wonderfully spicy African food so I popped a box into the trolley. The difference between these Chargrills and any other is the fact that Birds Eye have used Reggae Reggae sauce to flavour them, ... Read the complete review

If something's on offer then it usually finds itself jumping into my trolley if it looks appealing. I couldn't resist two chicken char grills for £1 the other week when shopping. I chose the reggae reggae variety because it was a new flavour and I have heard a lot about the sauce but never actually tasted it. Yesterday whilst searching for something to take to work I spied the box in the freezer and decided to cook one and have with pasta and salad. The box itself looks just like any other box containing chicken char grills from Birdseye, except there is a nice red, green and yellow thick stripe going across the front to announce the reggae reggae ...
