I can be quite a fussy eater really and basically live off chicken so when I spotted a bag of these with approximately 42 chicken dippers (770g) for just £3.00 in Sainsburys I decided to snap up a bag as these are ideal to have in the freezer for the nights when I can't be bothered or I have family coming over and they bring little ones. We are a big fan of chicken nuggets and chicken meals in general in our house and I find that while some supermarket brands are ok, others are terrible, which makes me want to buy a trusted brand for this type of product. We always buy Birds Eye chicken dippers as opposed to the cheaper versions because they are made from 100% chicken breast. They are available in 2 sizes-a box of 12 which weighs 220g and costs around £1.59 and a larger bag weighing 440g and costing around £2.79. You will find that often the box of 12 has extra free increasing the number of dippers to 15. The boxs are also often included in 2 for £2 deals or often found for £1 in a number of supermarkets. I looked after my three granddaughters this afternoon for an hour while my daughter and son in law went shopping. I was about to prepare a salad for myself when they turned up so made a big one and put a box of Chicken Dippers in the oven so we could all enjoy the lovely summer day with a salad in the garden. Chicken Dippers are made by Birds Eye and are an equivalent to Chicken Nuggets from McDonalds only I would say they are better quality and generally healthier. Having a slightly fussy 6 year old son can be quite taxing at mealtimes, so I quite often find myself wandering around Tescos trying to find items that are good for him, but that he will eat without too much fuss and effort.
