I live in a strange household because, although I love to cook, there's really no one to cook for on a regular basis & I usually can't be bothered to cook for myself. Hubby's self-employed in the food business so rarely eats at home whilst older daughter now lives & works the other side of the country & younger daughter (18) ... Read the complete review

I tried this one night when I couldn't be bothered to cook. It was ok but I didn't think it was worth the money. It costs £2-£2.50 depending on where you buy it, however it didn't really fill me up and I am not a big eater. I think the roast beef dinner is the best of the three that I have tried i.e. beef, pork and lamb. The last two have been inconsistent in the texture of the meats. I find the roast beef very tasty. Two points I would like to make though. Could the carrots be cooked a bit more and could you place the yorkshire pudding on the same side as the roast dinners as the puddings get very soggy in the gravy?

I used to eat a lot of these ready meals in my bachelor days before I got hitched. I'm a typical man and my culinary skills just about stretch to heating up the old frying pan. (Although I make a mean mince and tatties) So ready meals like this Roast Beef Dinner from frozen food manufacturers Bird's Eye were a real bonus. You just pop ... Read the complete review
