Birds eye pink salmon fish fingers are a good alternative to the dwindling cod or haddock versions and if you like pink you will love them even more The look? The outer packaging has Captain birds eye stood next to the logo with a picture of the fish finger itself and to be honest these look exactly the same once you open up the box so you do not feel as though you have been robbed on value. Each fish finger is approx 10 cms in length and covered in golden breadcrumbs and is packed full of salmon, each one is good size versus value Price? A box of ten cost around £2.48 in most supermarkets, this is for a 280 gram box which is a bit ... Read the complete review

Birdseye Salmon Fish Fingers I actually started buying salmon fish fingers when I saw them in Iceland, they were actually the Iceland own brand, and were £1 for 10 fish fingers. I'm not really a fish finger/chicken nuggets person, and I am one of those who will feed kids what I eat minus the extra salt, and if they don't like it then tough, they'll get it for breakfast the next morning, then lunch, then dinner again until it's gone. But as I don't have kids of my own, and I have a husband who works nights, sometimes it's easier to stick some fish fingers in the oven for 20 minutes than make a big spaghetti Bolognese, most of which will be wasted as I won't be able ... Trying to lose weight and vary my eating habits I have been trying so many new products lately that I probably wouldn't of even thought about before. I love salmon though so when I seen Birds Eye salmon fisher fingers I had to give them a try. They were on offer in Sainsburys at the time a box of 10 for a £1. They come in your typical cardboard box, a pale blue in colour with the ocean in the background. Birds Eye sailor is proudly showing off the brand logo on the box and a salmon fish finger is sitting neatly in the corner. 10 Salmon Fish Fingers I'm told on the box as well as 'Made with 100% Pink Salmon Fillet. Wild Pink Salmon it says on the side of the ... Read the complete review

I love fish fingers, but I'm pretty fussy about what I eat, and whilst with many products I'm happy to just go with the cheapest brand available, fish fingers for me are always Birdseye. Most cheap fish fingers tend to be made from the mysterious 'Minced White Fish' which has the texture of mashed up cardboard and tastes like licking a sweaty armpit. You're probably thinking I'm exaggerating there, after all, nobody makes a habit of licking armpits . Well, I did once while a little under the influence - and it was much nicer than a cheap fish finger! Okay, so now we know why I fixate on Birdseye - I know when the pack tells me it's cod fish ...
