Bisc & Mars

Description: Combination of shortcake biscuit and Mars bar.

Newest Review: ... but this is complimented really well by the blandness of the biscuit base. The chocolate on the Bisc & Mars is very sweet ... more

... too and layered quite thickly compared to the caramel. All in all, the biscuit is still a bit too 'Mars bar like' for me - the taste is too sugary and cloyingly sweet. I suppose it'll do for a quick choccie fix, and I DO quite like the taste, but my loathing of Mars bars comes through too strongly and all I can imagine is the nasty (in my eyes) sensation in my teeth when I eat 10 tablespoons of pure sugar that is marketed as a Mars bar! I paid 99p for this multipack of 6 Bisc & Mars from Asda (although I’ve s...more

I always find Mars bars a bit strange. It's a 'blokey' bar of chocolate like a Snickers or a Yorkie, but the taste is quite nice if you see what I mean - I can manage a funsize Mars bar and enjoy it but how the hell do people eat a King Size one??? wow, if you can do that I take my hat off to you. So I arrive at a new (to me anyway) version on the Mars bar - Bisc & Mars. Described on the packet as 'a unique snack experience combining the goodness of crunchy, crumbly biscuit and the famous taste of Mars.' This is a description made for me - the taste of Mars in a biscuit. I bought some. Opening the striking gold wrapper I'm confronted with a ...  Read the complete review

I do like a good BOGOF, so when I saw one on some new biscuity-chocolatey things in Tesco recently, I snapped it up. The biscuity-chocolatey things in question were Masterfoods Bisc&, which came in four different varieties: Bisc&Twix, Bisc&M&Ms, Bisc&Bounty and Bisc&Mars. Being a Mars lover, I grabbed two six-packs of the Bisc&Mars and rushed them home. To tell the truth, I would probably have bought them - or at least been drawn to them - even if they weren't a BOGOF as their bright yellowy packaging was positively beaming on the shelves. Packaging ripped off, the first thing that gets you about these biscuits is their looks. They're very hard ...  Read the complete review

I'll review that! Right now. Where to start? Hmmm. I know. Bisc &. A marvel in chocolate development. There are four (I think) different varities in this product, Bisc & Mars, Twix, Bounty and M&M. They consist of a flat biscuit with a thin layer of one of the above sweet on top covered in layer of Mars chocolate. Fourtunatly, these are just starting to sell these separately. They also come in a packet of six. Each is individually wrapped in a simple ...  Read the complete review

Bisc& mars IT IS A COLD Sunday afternoon we have had heating problems.(written last weekend) I need /want some chocolate. All I can find is a bisc & mars. I have not eaten one of these before. These biscuits are sold in pkt,s of 6. I think also in packets of 12.They cost 88p for the 6 pack or they are on offer at Tesco 2 pkts for £1.30. This biscuit is in fact twins there are 2 biscuits wrapped in each yellow package. A bright eye catching pack. The biscuits weigh about 19g each. They contain 520 kcal per 100g so maybe eating a lot of these is not a good idea. The biscuit is a plain dull brown with a few ridges on the top, ...  Read the complete review
