... can be said about an jaffa cake that hasn t been said before?? nothing is what!! for me, i love jaffa cakes, it hasn t always been this way though, i once was a guy that was not so fond of jaffa cakes. it was the orange jelly stuff in the middle that used to put me off, i have to say its now my favourite bit.... is there anyone else out there that bites off all of the underside leaving just the jelly and the bit... Border Strawberry & Cream Shortbread ... has a favourite biscuit and for me it is absolutely anything made by Border biscuits. Being Scottish, I obviously like shortbread but this is not why I love these as I have come across some horrible shortbread in my time. I cannot always get hold of these biscuits in England but in Scotland I can easily find these in most supermarkets. Living in England, I only ever see these in Morrison s which is upsetting as it is further away from me but whenever I m there I stock up on these, even if that is a dangerous move for me. Jacobs Biscuits for Cheese selection ... christmas the diet goes on the back burner and I like to indulge in a few things I like, so when I spotted these boxes of Jacobs Biscuits for Cheese on offer at Morrison for £1 I threw a couple of boxes in the trolley. I enjoy these best with generous slices of mature cheddar and branston pickle or a variety of chutneys. I don t know why they call these biscuits for cheese because on the box it describes them as A selection of your favourite 6 cracker varieties These include: 1. Jacobs famous cream crackers 2. Kallo Organic Chocolate Rice Cake Thins ... are thin rice cakes with a layer of chocolate on top. The combinations sounds strange, but actually works really well, and is a great sweet fix! They are also just 53 calories a slice, so are relatively healthy too. They are made from dark chocolate and wholegrain brown rice, with all ingredients being organically produced. There are no strange artificial sweeteners, or flavourings or colours making them a more natural option than a lot of sweet snacks. They are also gluten free, so would be a good choice for those with coeliac disease.
