I was rooting through my cupboards recently trying to think of something different to feed my girls than the usual pasta interspersed with roast dinners (their dad pretty much eats anything that's put in front of him). I came upon a tub of Bisto Parsley Sauce granules; I hardly ever make a meal accompanied by parsley sauce and when I do I normally make my own. However when we had a particularly harrowing financial month just after Christmas my mother swooped in with a 'red cross' parcel, containing mainly the sorts of food that my girls have never seen let alone actively like. Amongst the offerings was a tub of Bisto Parsley Sauce mix. My parents mean well but it would Read the complete review

I'm not much of a cook so making sauces from scratch really isn't my thing! Also my partner doesn't like parsley sauce so it's really not worth my while going out of my way to learn how to make it. This means I always have a tub of Bisto Parsley Sauce granules in the cupboard for those occasions when I eat alone and can have something my partner won't eat! The Bisto Parsley Sauce granules are easy to spot amongst the other Bisto products because they come in a green tub which immediately makes me think of parsley. I have found that the winning formula is usually salmon or cod as long as I serve it up with parsley sauce. I do know how to make the sauce from scratch but most evenings I just haven't got the time or the fresh parsley to hand to knock it up. I had tried various milk based powder mixes but then I discovered a little miracle in Bisto Parsley Sauce. This Parsley sauce Mix is presented in a fresh green coloured cardboard drum with a green plastic lid. It is the same style as the Bisto gravy granule drums. The rear of the drum gives ... My Mum used to make her own parsley sauce from scratch until she found this product whilst on holiday. Since then, this has been the only parsley sauce made in our house. Let me tell you more... Bisto, surely they are the gravy people ? Yes they are, and aren't we lucky that they decided to branch out a bit. They now have a whole range of sauces and being Bisto you just know that they are going to be first class. The product. It comes in a cylinder approximately can sized. It has the Bisto name on the front so there is no mistaking it. The tub and lid are mainly green. A nice picture on the front of a piece if fish covered in ... Read the complete review
