When I am in town and I feel a bit peckish, I often pop into Holland and Barratt to pick up a blackfriars flapjacks because they are so filling and really tasty. My favourite flavour has to be this ginger and chocolate chip one. The flapjack itself cost me 69p and is very thick and long so it's a really substantial snack. It's made up of oats, chocolate chips and ginger. The flapjacks is very soft and falls away really easily. You don't have to put any effort into chewing and it's so moist that it's a pleasure to eat. Share or expand your waistline! On looking round my local Holland and Barratt this week I came across an old friend- the Blackfriars Flapjack. He is an old friend having kept me company on many long hill walks in the Scottish mountains in my younger days. He is not for the weight watcher but for the active, not for the one counting calories but for the one who enjoys a substantial snack to keep them going!
