Once you do open it you discover it's a combination of chewy caramel, biscuit pieces and soft chocolatey-ness smothered in Cadbury's milk chocolate. I enjoy eating sweets at a lot of different times. After meals to get my sweet fix, to help stave off pangs of hunger, days ending in 'y'... you get the idea. There are a couple of different chocolate bars that are aimed at stopping hunger, like Mars or Snickers. I like both of these, but for me, the number one hunger stopping chocolate bar is the Cadbury's Boost bar. Even before you open a Boost you can feel it is a weighty chocolate bar that means business. Cadbury's launched the Boost in the early 80s, originally in three varieties, biscuit, rasin and peanut (the latter being rather like a Star Bar). You may remember the original advert quoted above. Maybe, you remember the Reeves & Mortimer ad (the Lone Ranger) with the tag line "It's slightly rippled with a flat underside". A masterpiece of consumer indoctrination.
