 ... does tempt you, as these biscuits come in a little box which contains around 6 biscuits, with the description 'Slowly tray baked Viennese biscuits half coated in smooth milk chocolate' on the top of the box. This description, and the little glimpse of the biscuits inside was enough to see me dropping them into my shopping trolley! The biscuits themselves are big and chunky, but do taste quite light. A lovely vanilla flavoured viennese shortbread whirl, with a thick layer of milk chocolate coating half the biscuit....more

I do not buy many biscuits at all, but when I do, I like something a little luxurious like a cookie from the bakery, or something coated in chocolate. I have noticed Border biscuits on sale in gift shops and food retailers in Scotland, but have never bought any until I spotted them recently in my local Morrisons. They are baked in Scotland at their Lanarkshire factory. I was in a biscuit/chocolate craving mood, and decided to treat myself to these Chocolate Viennese Whirls, drawn in by the packaging and also the fact you can see part of the biscuits through the small window on the top of the box.
