Bounty is a coconut covered chocolate bar made by Masterfoods. THE PACKAGING The packaging is white with a picture of blue sea with a palm tree on the left hand side and a picture of a coconut on the right hand side. The name of the bar is written across the middle in white letters. The back of the packet has the ingredients and nutritional information and also some contact details for the manufacturer which are available in several different languages. The bounty is mars unique coconut bar, unlike many chocolate bars there isnt a competitor to this excluding own brands from the likes of tesco and aldi. when you purchase a bar for around 50p, more expensive than other chocolate bars however you get two mini bars that together are larger than a normal mars bar for example, you get a bar wrapped in a distinctive blue wrapper with coconut trees on the front and the word BOUNTY written in letters you may associate with a desert island. Beautiful moist coconut covered in mars chocolate, can there be anything better? Well to start off the coconut actually tastes like coconut rather than some of the brands that try to compare. it is deliciously moist and soft, and the chocolate is the perfect finish, its smooth and melts at the right time to release the coconut. Bountys always make me feel tropical and happy in some strange way, it might be the packaging or the way mars used to advertise with the tropical beaches, sunshine and very inviting sea.
