Advantages: the coconut mousse, the taste
Disadvantages: the chocolate
This is not about a Bounty Bar but a Bounty Mousse dessert type thing. I could not find anywhere else to put it sorry. Scanning the supermarket aisles for crossover products I cam across this product. I think Masterfoods has done desserts for most of their range of chocolate bars. There is a Mars bar one and a Galaxy trifle and Galaxy sundae. Anyway this looked inviting for a wee treat so picked it up. It?s in a small pot weighing 110grams. The lid has the trademark bounty logo, blue and white with coconuts. Apparently it contains concentrated skimmed milk, sugar, creamed coconut, cream, desiccated coconut, coconut cream powder, chocolate and all sort of other unappetising things. So not one for every day as it sounds fattening. In fact it has 15 grams of fat and 258 calories. Once the lickable lid is taken off the contents appear to be a very thick white creamy looking mousse. It looks like little fluffy clouds to me. The mousse on it is own is delicious. A real taste of paradise. It is light, fluffy with loads of big chunks of coconut. Bigger than in the original bounty bar. It is really erally nice. Digging the spoon in further you come to a layer of runny chocolate. This is ok but not as nice as the mousse above. I suppose it would not be a bounty mousse without the chocolate. I?m not sure if the mousse also comes in the dark chocolate All in all very tasty and would be great if it was just the coconut mousse
