I like to think of myself as a bit of an expert when it comes to biscuits. Some people are chocoholics, some are cake-addicts but I firmly believe that there is nothing better than a good biscuit. I can tell you which supermarket sells the yummiest chocolate digestives and which has the nicest Nice biscuits. I regularly get addicted to a particular type of biscuit for several weeks, consuming packets and packets of them before getting bored and switching to something else. Currently my addiction is for bourbon cream biscuits which are a perennial favourite of mine. In case you're wondering what I'm on about, bourbon creams are those chocolatey biscuits ... ==BOURBON== My brother is perhaps the biggest _bourbon_ biscuit fan in the whole world. This, fortunately or unfortunately means that there are pretty much always these variety of biscuits in our cupboards and biscuit tins. I can't say I'm the biggest fan of these biscuits, and there are definitely other chocolate biscuits I'd rather have, however on the occasion I do have one, or two, or three of these little biscuits I have found it to be an all round enjoyable experience. ===What are they?=== What are the species that are known as bourbon biscuits. Well let me en-lighten you. The bourbon biscuit was first introduced in 1910 by the ... Read the complete review

I think Bourbon biscuits are the most popular biscuits around. Everyone has had them at some point in their lives. I cannot remember a time i didnt buy these. Even as i write this review i am eating one. So what are bourbons ? Bourbon's are basically a chocolate biscuit. Two thin rectangular layers of biscuit with chocolate cream filling in the middle, together this makes such a lovely, crunchy, tasty biscuit. I don't find these biscuits to sweet, and they have a lovely texture. Every brand of these Bourbons are lovely but I particularly like and get my Bourbon's from Tesco. Packaging The Tesco bourbons come in a brown packaging with ... Read the complete review

I can't say I'm the biggest fan of these biscuits, I find that they affect the taste of my tea / coffee when dunked , although there are always some in our household because my mother and brother love them. We get through about 2 packets of these a week. What are bourbon biscuits? The bourbon biscuit was first introduced in 1910 by the Bermondsey company Peek Freans. The biscuit is like a little chocolate sandwhich, with chocolate biscuit then a thing layer of chocolate fondant then another thin piece of chocolate biscuit. They are very similar to custard creams only varying in size and obviously taste. Cost We have the ASDA 400g ... Read the complete review

I have lost count how many times my little sister has randomly wandered up to me with a Bourbon biscuit, half chewed, that she doesn't want any more. What was I supposed to do with it? Bin it? Eat it? Either way, I eat it! I find it so incredibly difficult to resist a bourbon biscuit; they are so unique and amazing! But what makes them so? No matter what supermarket store you go into, they are bound to stock their own variety of bourbon biscuit; two of my favourites being Asda and Tesco. Though I find there is never a real difference between the biscuits, so it really is down to whichever is closest to you! Bourbons are no bigger than your index finger, and ...
