Advantages: taste scrummy

Disadvantages: not the highest quality of biscuit

Ah... Bourbon buscuits are proberly one of my favourite buscuits around, reminding me of my childhood, and are a firm classic that has been around since 1910 and are bound to be around for years to come.

The bourbon biscuit is basically a chocolate cream fondant encased in two hard chocolate buscuits...if you have never seem them where have you been! They are a cheap biscuits (everyday biscuit), the biscuit is not of a very high quality and is pretty dry and the fondant filling is very sweet and grainy usually, it also has a faux chocaolate taste to it. Despite all of this i love these biscuits, even though they don't taste of real chocolate they are scrummy and very mourish. I love dipping them in a cup of tea, where i find the filling to slightly melt in your mouth.

These are defently not you tea party biscuit but for an every day biscuit there is apsolutly nothing wrong with them. However they are pretty high in fat and calouries, but to be fair if you are going to eat a biscuit this tend to be expected. Defently worth a nibble, and you'l also find they are very cheap to buy.

Summary: yum yum
