Advantages: Delicious
Disadvantages: Unhealthy
Bourbons are my favourite biscuits.
They consist of two layers of rectangular chocolate biscuit with the word bourbon inscribed, and in between these is a layer of chocolate cream. I normally eat these by twizzling the biscuit apart so that I can eat one layer of plain biscuit and then the other layer with the chocolate cream separetly.
It takes a while to master, you may get some of the chocolate cream on both layers of biscit at first, but for me there's really no other way to eat them. The chocolate cream is definitely the sweetest part of this, not too sickly sweet, but just right to compliment the slightly bitter biscuit.
Bourbons can be bought cheaply from Sainsburys. A 200g pack is 40p and a 400g pack is 59p.
Each biscuit is 67 calories and has 3g of fat, but I'm too in love with these to care about my poor arteries. And on that note, I think I will see if I can put these into a blender with milk and ice-cream to create a bourbon milkshake.
Summary: Yummy and cheap
