I recently wrote a review on some pickled onions. We always buy that particular brand and never divert from our them. However these were the result when my Mother went shopping without her glasses on! Never do we eat any other pickles and when we noticed we thought oh well Branston are a well known brand they've got to be nice type of thing lol My Step-Dad was all ready to jump in the car with the and take them back to the store and Mum said they had to be worth a go and it became a major debate! please any one out there. i cant find branston onions any where, i have tried every shop big and small. they are the best onions ever i just love them. i eat them whenever i get peckish, they are so morish. please someone help me out and put me in direction on these onions . hopefully maureen , southend essex

I was just wondering what to write a review on and it suddenly occured to me - Branston Pickled Onions.... well what made me want to write a review on these I hear you ask!?! - well being a few months pregnant I'm sure you will understand these wierd urges I have for certain foods! Branston Pickled onions are available in most supermarkets and grocery shops! They are easy recognisable by the well known and easily identifiable Branston label bering the Crosse and Blackwell logo. They are in a clear jar (although the vinegar makes it look brown!!) which is wider at the bottom than at the top. The lid is a gold screw top one. The jar is 454g and mine cost me 39p ... How could I resist something that combines two of my favourite things? When I saw them sitting there in their odd shaped jars, looking all round and brown, I simply had to buy them. And as soon as I got them home I had to try one (or 3). Yes, I ate them strait from the jar, before they even managed to get to the cupboard. You see I do love my pickled onions. And these are no normal pickled onions either, these are more like those ones Aunty used to make and keep in jars for years until they went soft.
