Now, if someone were to offer me a cheese sandwich with a layer of "carrot, rutabaga, onion, cauliflower, marrow, date and gherkin relish", I would probably decline, turning my nose up at the mere thought. However, a cheese and Branston pickle sandwich would be accepted with great enthusiasm..........it's amazing what a change of name can do! I normally champion value brands, but there are certain things that jut cannot be imitated, and Branston Pickle is one of those, and you'll always find a jar of Branston in the house. Being Branston lovers I thought the Squeezy Branston would be perfect. So the first time it was used was on my son's pack up sandwiches. It just happened to be a day when my daughter wanted tuna rather than ham, so the pickle was only being used on one sandwich.
