x-TakeMeHome-x Iceland 4 Part Baked Petits Pains: ... is awesome! Tasty and filling a carbohydrate I really enjoy in many different forms! I like sliced bread both white and brown and seeded bread and bread cakes and pitta bread and tortillas and petits pains of course which are like mini crusty baguettes! Iceland do a pack of four and they sell two packs for only one pound so we get them from there a lot and bake them fresh in the oven as they are part baked a...

Gaven Kingsmill Everyday bread
... it comes to bread, i buy whatever is on offer, as i believe paying anything more than a pound for bread is nothing short of daylight robbery. This delightful bread came up in tesco on offer for 80p, so it simply called to me. The blue packaging helped, but it was more the big sign saying Special Offer! . Opening the pack, there was quite an unusually strong bread smell. Far more than the usual supermarket breads that i endure in my search for low cost. The pack contained about 15 slices, excluding the crusts, which i was suprised to find were almost as thick as two whole slices. I thought this was an obscene waste, so very carefully cut them into two slices! The...

sa_O33 Sainsbury's Medium Sliced White Bread
... main problems I have with shop-bought bread are wetness and ridiculously thin slices. With this bread, neither of these are a problem. Although I wouldn t neccessarily call these medium sclices, as they do tend towards the thin side of medium, they don t tear when I spread things on them, resulting in better sandwiches. And it hasn t got that horrible, "sticking to the roof of your mouth" feeling that other breads I ve tried have. In terms of value, a loaf costs 75p I think. I had a look round the other day, and it s definitely a lot cheaper than any branded product. The cheapest branded bread I saw was £1.00, and that was on special offer. Taste-wise, I c...

x-TakeMeHome-x Cadburys Fudge Cake Bars
... love snacky foods and confectionery - well I am a growing teenager, lol! I grew up on Cadbury s so it is my favourite chocolate so when these cake bars came out we got some to try as they were on special offer at Morrisons for 99p which isn t a bad price for a product like this... The packaging is really eye-catching with funky purple and bright orange swirls on it and a picture of an open Fudge bar which my flavour are, although the makers do limited edition double choc and jaffa cake flavours too. Inside the plastic wrapper there is a clear tray with 5 individually wrapped bars of fudge cakes in them to protect them as they are really very soft... The Special Edit...
