Saturday is shopping day in our household, well for me and the wife anyway. My son just sits and waits then empties us out when we return. The biscuit aisle in our ASDA is fifth from the right as you stand looking at the aisles. Now I know this because I just love biscuits. All that sugar and chocolate and calories................just yummy. There was a time when I'd try and watch what I ate but I now believe that we should make the most of things while we are here, and if that means having an extra choccy biscuit then that's just a little bonus. So you can look forward too or not as the case may be to more reviews on biscuits in the ... Read the complete review

Now I guess it's the fact that the nights are drawing and the weather is getting colder, why we seem to be desiring and eating more comfort foods. As an occasional treat both Hubby and I are partial to choccie biscuits. I purchased a double pack of mint Viscount biscuits this week for 85p at Netto. This had 16 mint cream biscuits. Working out at less than 5p a biscuit this represents good value. The outer packaging is a dark, almost black, and green cellophane cover. Inside there are two black plastic trays which each hold eight of the Viscount biscuits. Individually wrapped each biscuit is in a bright geen, silver foil wrapper. I think the wrapping and the ... I used to love these when I was a kid, and for some bizarre reason they either disappeared for a short while or they were not bought any more in my household. But recently they have returned, and I think they are more than ready for a review. Viscounts come in a green packet, with the word Viscount stretched across the middle. Next to this is a graphic image of half a viscount, to show you what they look like inside. The packs hold 7 biscuits which sit on a clear plastic tray and are all individually wrapped in green foil. Bright green foil at that. The foil has a cool wavy pattern over it too. The packaging gives them some kind of expensive feel ... Read the complete review

These were on offer in Asda for 2 packs of 14 biscuits for just £2 so I thought I'd relive some old memories. My mum used to buy them all the time and I haven't had them for years so was really looking forward to trying them again. The biscuit is a flat ircular shape which consists of a biscuit topped with a layer of mint cream and the whole thing has a thin layer of milk chocolate around it. It's wrapped in a green foil which I did spend a bit of time carefully removing it and flattening it out just for pure entertainment reasons really! I know how to live! One thing that seems to be happening with everything these days and the Viscount is no ... Read the complete review

***** Introduction ***** On Monday while making a flying visit to Home Bargains, I noticed a packet of Viscounts. These instantly stopped me in my tracks as the memories of me, my brother and my sister fighting over these came flooding back. As as child we only had these as a treat and like most kids if they were there we had to eat them. The biggest problem was that there was three of us and there were seven Viscounts, which always ment one would get three of them, leaving the other two out. Me being the youngest always seemed to go with out. And with that in mind I could not resist them, as I scooped up a couple of packets and placed ... Read the complete review
