Advantages: taste great
Disadvantages: none
Jammie Dodgers are biscuits which children especially enjoy. My daughter loves it when she spots these in the biscuit tin at home. They are made by the company Burtons.
They are packaged in a bright red packet .The words Jammie Dodgers written over in large letters in a contrasting yellow writing. They are very brightly packaged and stand out from the other biscuits on the supermarket shelf. There is a picture of the Jammie Dodgers on the front of the packet. The size packet I bought contained 150g of the biscuits. They are shortcake biscuits which are sandwiched together with raspberry jam.
The Jammie Dodgers are very pretty to look at. They have a little heart shape cut out on the top of the biscuit where the jam is. The biscuits are shortcake and are very nice crunchy biscuits. The jam is very sticky and stretchy raspberry jam. It has a very sweet taste and the raspberry flavour is delicious. The crunchy biscuit and the sticky jam make a nice combination. Each biscuit has 83 calories.
The biscuits do not contain any artificial colours or flavours. They are suitable for vegetarians.
The biscuits are also available in a snack packet. These contain 3 Mini Jammie Dodgers. These are ideal for popping into the lunchbox. They also do a family sized packet of the biscuits.
They are available from the supermarket and the 150g packet costs 89p.
