Advantages: Looks Nice
Disadvantages: Tastes artificial
Jammie Dodger, its a cheeky monicker for a naughty child or a gorgeous biscuit for a well behaved child.
Burtons Jammie Dodgers are an easily recognisable biscuit brand, small and round they are two round biscuits with cream in the middle and a small circle of jam jelly on the top, for me the biscuits look great for presentation when you have guests and taste best with a lovely cup of tea.
The pack is easy to spot its bright red with the words 'Jammie Dodgers' in yellow letters.
A biscuit contains wheat flour, Rasberry flavoured plum jam, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Plums, Humectant, Gelling Agent, Acidity Regulator, Citric Acid, Natural Flavouring, Natural Colour, Palm Oil, Granulated sugar, Glucose Syrup, Rising agents, Dried Whey and salt. There are 83 calories in a biscuit so a pack of 8 would come to nearly 700 calories. Its not the most natural biscuit and being honest the cream is dry and the jelly is sweet and tastes fake.
An 8 biscuit pack cost me 42 pence in Tesco, but is also available in all other supermarkets and many good local stores, you can buy twin packs also in larger stores.
Overall I preferred these biscuits when I was a kid, now they seem small, artificial and not as nice as a decent crumbly digestive or something which tastes more natural.
Summary: Slightly Artificial Taste
