 ... usually I can't tell the taste of it from the taste of the biscuit. I don't mind this however, as the biscuit tastes rather yummy. It's soft rather than crunchy and a little spongy. The layer of marshmallow isn't what you would expect from flumps or anything like that. It's about 2mm thick, flat and white and sweet without the fluffiness usually associated with marshmallows. "They're kinda big and kinda round with real milk chocolate and biscuit to be found. under that chocolatey stuff. And they're really squidgy yeah really squodgy you'll be sorry if you don't get enough, you got to eat one bit at a time, but they're so big nobody would mind, if theres a bigger bite it cant be found". Damn, I am getting old. My kids have no idea what I am singing about (and those of you reading this who don't are too young too!). Burton's Wagon Wheels must be older than I am, I certainly cannot remember a time when they were not on a shops shelves. That makes them at least 29! Anyhow, before I get even more bogged down in rambling ...

OK I'm a big boy now and can, if provoked, do a 6 pack at one sitting. HOWEVER when I was a lad they came in open yellow bags and i swear they were bigger. Its not a sin to have reduced the size but i would love to have it confirmed. ( the chocolate was thicker in 1967 as well ) Why don't Burtons do do a special... a 6" 4 pack, no matter what the price they would sell I'm sure ...

Wagon Wheels The Wagon Wheel is a great choice for eleven O clock teas, as part of a packed lunch or even to have as a quick fix snack. The Wagon Wheel has been a popular biscuit/bar in our household for as long as I can remember and for me it has to be my favourite snack type bar.
