Advantages: Erm- a good snack for your dog!

Disadvantages: the taste

I'm a big fan and biscuits and chocolate, so when companies decide to combine them into one, im a very happy bunny. There nothing more relaxing than sitting down with a nice cup of tea and some chocolate biscuits. I normally prefer Mc-Vities chocolate covered biscuits, but shopping last week i came across the Cadbury's variety which where on offer for about 60p a pack.

Cadbury's chocolate has to be my favorite, and i was quite surprised that i hadn't come across them sooner, what with the bright purple pakaging how could i not have seen them sooner?

~The taste test~

Opening up the packet i was greeted by the rich warming smell of Cadbury's chocolate, so i thought i wouldn't be disappointed, the biscuits looked like any other digestive biscuit, and imprinted on every biscuit was the Cadbury's logo. Taking my first bite, i was a little disappointed, the biscuit seemed very dry and tasteless, and very crunchy to be a biscuit.

The digestive was bland, and the chocolate did nothing to try and hide the blandness, as there was very little of that too.

~The dunk test~

I thing the only thing that covered up the horrid taste of this biscuit was when i dunked it in to my tea, which helped slightly. It certainly is a very strong biscuit, and passed the dunking test, but i think thats all i can say thats positive.

~ My thoughts~

In all honestly the biscuit was horrible, and i gave the rest of the packet away to the dog, and other family members who popped round! It left a very horrid aftertaste in my mouth, which made my mouth feel all weird and tingly. I would recommend these, and think it's puts Cadbury's to shame, considering there other chocolate products taste so yummy.

~ Nutritional info~

Each biscuit contains a shocking 85 calories, which in my opinion could be spent on something a lot more tastier, there is 4.7g of sugar and 4.1g of fat per biscuit, so doesn't exactly come into a healthy diet.

Each packet is 400g, and there are roughly around twenty biscuits in each pack.

For the price i'd rather stick to my Mc-Vities thank you very much.

~ Verdict~ Don't waste your money.

Summary: Save your money for something that actually tastes nice
