Advantages: They are a tasty treat

Disadvantages: none

I guess you could call this an impulse buy, I had been all around Asda and was in the queue to pay, and there they were, on the end of the till point, looking all tasty and chocolatey, this square shiny red pack with NEW Cadbury Clusters written on it. This one is the individual pack at 37g and cost 49p. There is also a share bag available. I picked up a bag and had a closer look.

*** The Packaging ***

The bag is a foil pack about 4 inches square and crimp sealed at either end. The pack is red with the usual Purple banner, which I would automatically associate with Cadbury. At the top right corner of the pack it has a smallish purple banner with NEW written in yellow to make it stand out. There are a few raisins pictured and a few clusters too.

*** The Clusters ***

The clusters are quite small, bite sized pieces which are nobbley shaped all over except the bottom is flat. They are described on the pack as "Clusters of crunchy flakes & juicy raisins tumbled in scrumptious Cadbury milk chocolate", and this is exactly what you get in the bag.

Each 37g bag contains
175 kcals
23g sugars
8.2g fat
5.1g staurates
0.2g salt

*** My Opinion ***

On opening the bag I was slightly disappointed to find just a few clusters, there were actually 9 pieces, a few much smaller pieces, like they were halved. I put one in my mouth and crunched through it, It tasted nice, the raisins were very juicy and tasty and they compliment the crunchiness of the flakes and the sweet milk chocolate. It tasted quite like a picnic but without the nuts. I enjoyed all of the pieces and was then surprised at how filling they actually were. I will buy these again and I would recommend them, they are a nice treat, but don't be fooled into thinking that there's not a lot in it, There is ample eating in this pack.

Summary: Ii wonder if I can count the raisins as part of my 5 a day???
