... - not so bad, as more time to enjoy eggs! These come in a 58g bag and cost 55p-65p in most shops. The packaging is alright I guess. the size of the bag seems just right, and it is bright and colourful, so stands out on the shelve well. The colours are red. purple and yellow. There is a picture of a half eaten egg on the front and you see the chocolate outer part and the yellow and white fondant inside the egg. The eggs aren't individually wrapped inside, so they are just chocolate eggs. You only get 5 eggs in th...more

Premium Review Cadbury Creme Egg Minis: Is this a raw egg? (510 words)

Cadbury Creme Egg Minis Because Easter is approaching, I thought buying chocolate eggs would be a good idea although I still don't know the connection between Jesus Christ's resurrection and chocolate eggs and bunnies. Perhaps, if you want to enjoy the celebration, you shouldn't ask too many questions. I started with this small bag of chocolate eggs with the hope that the eggs would be bigger and bigger as Easter approaches. I bought my Cadbury Creme Egg Minis 100g bag from ASDA for £1.00, and I think it's available almost everywhere else, and it won't be hard to find it displayed in supermarkets at this time of the year. The product is also sold ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A lovely treat even if you're on a diet! (530 words)

I was wandering round Boots the other day doing a bit of shopping when I decided that I fancied a little treat so I decided to buy a packet of Cadbury Crème Egg Minis. Yes I know I have Type 2 Diabetes but I figured with these minis I could have just a bit of chocolate at a time. I purchased a 100g pack containing 9 of these little eggs. Each egg contains just 50 calories as compared with 171 calories in a standard sized crème egg. So basically the standard sized egg is about three and a half times as big as one of these little darlings. The packet has the Cadbury logo and Crème Egg Minis written on it and is unmistakeable in the corporate Cadbury ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury Creme Egg Minis: Poor packaging lets them down (291 words)

These are basically the mini version of the standard Cadbury Creme Egg that fill up the shelves near the tills in most shops and supermarkets between now and Easter trying to tempt you into a spur of the moment purchase which you then regret as you think of the extra minutes you will have to spend in the gym once you have scoffed your purchase. I prefer mini eggs if I'm honest rather than these fondant filled ones as I find these a bit too sickly at times. Each egg is made up of nice thick cadbury milk chocolate and there is a lovely rich smell when you unwrap the outer foil packaging. They are very firm to bite into as the chocolate is very generous and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review MY CHIHUAHUA WOULD THINK THIS IS A HUGE EGG! (341 words)

If I was to choose a filled chocolate egg, it wouldn't be the full sized Cadbury's Creme egg, as I find them a bit sickly and they don't do it for me. I'd normally pick either a Caramel one, or perhaps a Mars 1. These creme eggs are different though, since they are smaller then they aren't so sickly. Since Easter was last week, these are disappearing from my local shops, but they will be back again in approx 8 months when the eggs appear in the shops well ahead of schedule of Easter time - not so bad, as more time to enjoy eggs! These come in a 58g bag and cost 55p-65p in most shops. The packaging is alright I guess. the size of the bag ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Cadbury Creme Egg Minis: Honey I've shrunk the creme egg! (390 words)

I am really not keen on Cadburys creme eggs at all. I find them far too sickly! In church on sunday my son was given a few by one of the leaders. I popped one in my mouth, one in his mouth and one in my pocket. I wouldn't normally steal my son's chocolate but I needed something to perk me up as I was flagging a bit. The eggs come in a plastic bag and over easter I saw plenty of supermarkets doing two packs for £2. Individually they cost £1.09 and there are around ten eggs in each bag. The eggs are around a third of the size of a normal creme egg and are individually wrapped like a normal creme egg. I am a sucker for things that are small and cute ...  Read the complete review
