This is a bar version of the original Cream Egg. Although Cream Eggs are meant to be an easter treat they are usually in the shops about 4 months before easter and 2 months afterwards. Cream Egg Twisted has been out for a little while now and seems to be out all year round. The bar is a Milk Chocolate bar with Cream Egg filling. I have always been a fan of Cadburys Creme Eggs and when I saw this 'Twisted' which is meant to be a just like the creme egg but looks alot easier to eat.... wow was I excited at the thought! Lets face it if your familiar with a creme egg they're just are not that simple to eat. From the egg shape to the thicker chocolate to get through to them being full of sweet and sticky fondant, in my view these are best to be enjoyed alone. Oh lets not forget to mention the foil wrapper always managing to somehow get into your mouth and play havoc with your fillings! Yes a tricky choccy to eat indeed but indulgent? Yes!.... Being rather partial to a Crème Egg I was really looking forward to getting my teeth into one Cadbury's latest creations, Crème Egg Twisted. For an outlay of about 50p you will in return receive a chocolate bar which is definitely a bit different. The wrapper is reasonably impressive with it being a kind of dark red almost maroon colour, with in very large yellow letters the word TWISTED which in itself is slightly as it's name suggest. It is perhaps 5 inches long with a width of approx 1 inch whilst in the wrapper. On opening though the width is down to just over half an inch, which is obviously disappointing.
